Let’s go! Photo challenge this month is to shoot

Let’s go! Photo challenge this month is to shoot through an object! You have till the end of the month to accomplish the task. Use anything that can take a photo. Anyone can join. Get creative and do your thing! I’ll share the shots at the start of next month. I already know and have planned my shot. Shooting this weekend. If you have questions msg me. It’s just for fun. You can shoot in any style keep it safe for work. I’m shooting a pretty funny shot haha. When you’ve shot your pic send it to me to me (msg). Have fun! (Cell phone pics are totally accepted. 🙂)

In 2016 when I started to shoot photography again

In 2016 when I started to shoot photography again it was because I was inspired by Reed during the shooting of THT Season 1 (I started my THT journey on ep1s1). I was going through a difficult time in my life my father had cancer (many of you know this I’m pretty open about my parents and cancer). While he was in hospital I started to shoot cherry blossoms and I continue to do it yearly as it was a reminder of my father. He saw my first cherry blossom photos which I shot at the same location (from the campus of UofT). I shot these in between work a couple weeks ago on a walk. Tomorrow would be 4 years that he has been gone. I say this a lot but never live with regret-life is short. Tell your parents, partner, siblings, kids, family and friends you love them. Here we are in a pandemic limited to who we interact with. Nurses, doctors and other first responders are trying to save as many lives as possible. I was fortunate I had time to talk to my father and I was lucky to get to be in hospital with him (and our family). I feel terrible for the families who can’t be with their parents in the hospitals. I know people who lost parents to Covid19 who never had the chance to say goodbye. Wear the masks. If not for yourself do it for others. Like I said in previous years-I don’t need a comment on a post like this-just like hug or elbow tab a family member or whoever is in your circle and continue to pass kindness on to others. ❤️

I’m looking forward to summer. Jump on the motorcycle ride out into the middle of no where and just shoot. If we are still in a home lockdown then I guess I’ll need to get more creative with photo manipulation. I’ve been trying to do sets of 3 but I messed up the row. So you might see a 4th pic of me in the woods. 🤷‍♀️ I wish Instagram had a feature to sort images. I only started doing self portraits last year. My fav one is drinking the tea/coffee haha. Shot last summer with the Sony a7riii with a 90mm.

Trust me when I say good photography is painful posing positions that make no sense. Also this tshirt literally been in to many photos. It’s a Target (Tarjay 😆) shirt that I also have on in my headshots haha. iPhone8 in the hand. I upgraded through since last year. I’m wearing an Akira Project mask. I use my phone as my monitor to shoot my camera. I recommend if your camera has this ability -to download the app to use it as a remote. Clearly -I didn’t use the timer function lol. Photo shot last summer.

As we go into a further lockdown. Remember that none of this is easy for anyone. This is a stressful period for all. Be kind. I’m going to start the Zoom board game night back up. So if people are interested shoot me a message. Weekends Only. (Over Zoom)
If there is big interest I’ll need to split it up. (I’ll create an east coast night one weekend with music) and the normal game we had last year. It’s good to smile and laugh with friends.

It’s the weekend!!!! @iamsonnystein is actually my twin sisters @renstar17 and her husbands @astein4 puppy. Although me and Sonny are best buds and I taught him how to play tag. He is a funny dog with a big personality. I like to think of him like my sidekick. Fur nephew. As I’m sure you’ve all seen on Instagram videos he runs at me with out thinking 😂. So I’ll repost some of my favourite shots. I would really like to get a photo of his reaction of when I’m hiding and he looks in the normal spot around the house and I’m not there. Probably in the summer I’ll shoot that. I hope these photos bring a little cheer and smile to some of you during this long pandemic. ☺️

The perception when writing or shooting photograph

The perception when writing or shooting photographer sometimes for me is to leave the mystery using a mask or helmet to allow an individual to use their imagination and envision what they want to believe. That’s also another reason I enjoy shooting silhouettes or individuals from behind not revealing their faces. It’s only badass because there is mystery. Lol. Honestly It’s goofy to wear a helmet inside and shoot. 🙃😉 (I didn’t edit this as I’m lazy at the moment haha I just did a peloton ride 🤣.)

I don’t know why I like this photo...maybe because I find it hilarious. My addiction to coffee ☕️ and tea 🍵. Also I look a little nervous 😬 like I forgot to order more coffee beans. 🤣 good things I have friends who support my addiction and gift me lovely bags from around the world 🌎 🥰 thank youuuuuu. I’ve reduced my intake to 1 cup of coffee a day (unless at work....then there is no limit 😆) .

Back in July I was challenged by many people and I promised them I would shoot a proper b/w photo. It was when we were challenging each other because there are so many badass women we all know that inspire us everyday. Well I finally did those self portraits. I know it took me a while....but I wanted to have the time to do it right......you might know me as a stunt woman, digital computer ninja or a @thelitas_toronto . Anyhow this pretty much gets across my love for adventures on the road. 🏍🖤🤍🖤🤍

Well at least this didn’t happen on the way to a job. That would be a weird explanation. 🤔lol. Yup- my muffler broke off and I had to cut off the plastic hanger. 💩 happens . It’s fixed now. No hating on my terrible socks! I didn’t say I was stylish in this pandemic. 🤣 (they were all that I could find and I thought no one would see me.....) ...dangggg it. 😅 Car is fixed and ready to roll ! Who needs a muffler? 😉🙃

The final product. So this is what I did....Designed and built a geometric accent wall, painted and reset up the room....probably the coolest set up in the house now.... lol. I made the ▿ bottom point center of the room. I’m pretty happy with the end result. 😊
